The Auxiliary Services team is comprised of certified staff including the speech and language therapist, the reading specialist, math specialist, school nurse, and school psychologist. All are employed through the Hamilton County Educational Service Center which contracts with JPII for these services to staff and students in the school. A variety of remedial instructional services and/or individualized interventions and supports in a small group or one-to-one setting are provided to students who are identified as needing more intensive academic, behavioral/social skills, and study skills support.

The Auxiliary Services Team is also a part of JPII Intervention Assistance Team (IAT), partnering with parents and teachers to develop a plan to solve any student problems should they occur during the school year. For more information on the IAT process please visit the Intervention Assistance Team (IAT) page.
